Scrumble Handbag

I found a scrumble tutorial online which I used to get started. Scrumbling (freeform knitting) is very much a personal thing. You design as you go along. It usually involves crochet but I can only knit!

I started with a small knitted square and then worked around it increasing and decreasing as I went and adding in other types of yarn, colours and textures. If you're interested just do a search for scrumble or freeform knitting!

The bag I knitted from my own standard design with 100% wool so it can felted in the washing machine (or by hand). Then you can stuff it with polythene bags to the shape you want and leave to air dry. Again, you can find tutorials online for this. Enjoy!
