Labour of love!

Having never made a quilt before I had to do some thinking! I saw the material whilst on holiday and loved it. Bought enough to cover a single bed. Then I used some curtain lining I had in my store box and fixed the wadding to it. Then laid material on top and tacked all layers together. Biggest problem was handling such a bulk of material and trying to get it all through the right hand side of he machine without disturbing the material too much. I stitched the same way for each panel otherwise it would have had a ripple effect. A true labour of love for my 5year old grand-daughter but she's worth it.
