This is another of my projects just completed. I took a good 48 hours to paint the Lloyd loom in gold; it seemed to drink up the paint. The seat is covered in the same upholstery fabric, a soft salmon colour. The cushion cover took time to design because I wanted strength in the end pieces where I have attached the ribbon. No zips or buttonholes! I can remove the cover easily which is great. I have found some pretty matching buttons to decorate the cotton lace...to do!
