Needlebook and scissors case

I made both projects up as I went along. I used wadding for the scissors case and decided to quilt it to keep the wadding in place. I used wadding as I wanted it to be quite thick so the scissors didn't poke through.

For the needle book I used fusible fleece interfacing so I could iron it into place before I turned the fabric through. This is thinner than wadding but gave it a bit of thickness/structure. It has a felt sheet on the inside to stick the pins and needles into and uses a button and ribbon fastening.
