I used equal sized pieces of outer fabric, lining fabric and wadding and sewed them all together then turned them the right way out to make a long padded rectangle. I then folded the rectangle up to make the pouch part and down to make a fastening flap. Lastly I sewed up the sides so that the 'sandwich' of fabrics shows!
